eclipse-cdt-qt software package provides Qt framework support for Eclipse CDT, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-cdt-qt
eclipse-cdt-qt is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-cdt-qt package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-cdt-qt *
You will get with eclipse-cdt-qt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
